What is “Clean Eating”…. Really.

When I first started hearing the word clean eating I researched what it really meant. What I found out is that the term is subjective. There really isn’t a specific definition. So I’ll give you mine….

Clean Eating is eating whole foods from the earth. It’s a simple as that. You probably want more though right….

Here’s what I include in my clean eating repertoire:

·      Whole unprocessed Foods

·      Organic Fruits & Veggies (non-GMO)

·      Grass-Fed Beef & Free-Range/Organic Chicken

·      Wild-Caught Fish

·      Free Range Eggs

·      Healthy Fats

  • Olive Oil

  • Coconut oil & Coconut Milk (full-fat)

  • Avocados

  • Almond Butter (seed butters are good too)

 

Eliminate these foods:

·      Gluten

·      Dairy

·      Soy

·      Alcohol

·      Coffee (It’s not the caffeine is the acidity) Here’s my favorite coffee replacement

·      Sugar

·      Anything Bagged, Boxed or made in a Factory

Now you know what clean eating is!
