Have you heard of a miracle morning or magic morning or morning routine? I’m going to tell you ALL about it, but FIRST let me tell you why you should even care about what it is.
When I do my “Miracle Morning”, my day flows smoothly, I am calmer, more present, & happier. I get more accomplished & don’t feel like I’m running on empty or am “overwhelmed”.
On the other hand, when I don’t fit it in, the opposite is true. I feel like I can’t catch up, I don’t even know what is on my “To Do” list because I don’t even have time to look at it. It’s like I’m on a battlefield and just reacting to life.
Think about how this could change your life?? If you could have control of your days, that turns into weeks, which turns into months & years.
Not only that, but if you are a mom you KNOW that how you are feeling affects the ENTIRE family.
Imagine what it could do for your family life? It would be so much calmer!! Mine is!
So now, you need to know what this is right??
I posted a live video showing all of YOU, MY miracle morning in our Free Community – Curiously Good Life. You get to see me RIGHT after I have rolled out of bed. No shame over here!!

Here’s where it came from…
The term “Miracle Morning” was coined by Hal Elrod. He wrote an entire book: The Miracle Morning. You can snag it HERE. It’s a super quick read & worth buying if you can share it with a few people & pass it on. That’s exactly what I did.
Here’s what a “Miracle Morning” consists of.
-
Getting up 30 minutes to an hour before your NORMAL time
-
Spending 10 minutes on each of the six actvities listed below. But if you have 1 minute for each do that! And if you want to spend an hour exercising and 5 minutes on the others, do that! It’s about what works for you and what YOU need. At first, do it all and then tweak it for YOU.
-
Doing a combination of six activities — Remember the Acronym SAVERS (I don’t always do all of these but usually a mixture)
-
Silence
-
Affirmations
-
Visualization
-
Exercise
-
Reading
-
Scribing
Let’s go through each of these things…
-
Silence: This can be many things depending on YOU. It can be meditation, prayer, breathing. Really whatever as long as you are quiet & you are working on calming your mind
-
Affirmations: I used to thing affirmations where stupid “wu-wu” things for people that weren’t quite in sync with reality. I have COMPLETELY changed my mind on that. Check out the quote below…
-
Visualization – This is all about visualizing your goals & dreams and what it will feel like to achieve them, what it will take to get there. Where you will be, who you will be with. I find it easier to imagine a scene playing out instead of something still. It keeps my mind occupied better. This is actually a SUPER important part to reaching your goals & dreams.
-
Exercise – Let’s be real here. It’s just good for you. You have probably heard me say before that your health is 80% your nutrition. And I believe that is true BUT if you don’t use it, you’ll lose it. It’s as simple as that. If you need more motivation. Have you heard that exercising can make you smarter? Don’t trust me on this one…. Read it in Psychology Today!
-
Reading – This can be anything BUT I would encourage a personal growth book, or a devotional, or the bible. Something that encourages & motivates you to be the best version of you.
-
Scribing – This is really just journaling. Hal Elrod just needed to find an acronym that worked. I actually journal every morning while I pray. You do what works for you BUT I LOVE to go back to my journals to see where I was before in life. It really is amazing how much you can grow over the years. You will be SO proud of who you are when you see where you came from.
I hope that has given you MORE than enough to chew on. I would LOVE to hear about how you are implementing your Miracle Morning. Meet us over at our free community or our Members Only Community and share your wins!!
