Here’s another super simple recipe that is healthy & delicious.
I grew up in a Lebanese family & in our family, it’s sacrilegious to be without lemon or garlic in your house. Ok, maybe I took that a little far BUT really, we make sure to never run out of it.
That being said, this recipe has three ingredients but tastes like you took all day to make it.
2 Lemons, juiced
2 Garlic cloves, diced fine
1 lb Chicken strips or cutlets
Wooden Skewers, soaked for at least 10 minutes
Salt & Pepper to taste
- Mix together the lemon juice & garlic.
- Marinate the chicken for as long as you want, 15 minutes to 24 hours.
- Once you are ready to cook the chicken, heat the grill & skewer the chicken.
- You’ll want to cook the chicken on each side for about 5 minutes until it’s cooked through. Just make sure not to overcook it because overcooked chicken is dry and not good.
